Looks like all big stars of Telugu cinema are after violent movies, thanks to the influence of KGF and Pushpa. Vishwambhara's glimpse video featured Chiranjeevi slaying the evil villains. His film with Dasara director Srikanth Odela is going to be an ultra-violent movie.
MEGA158, the actor's 158th movie, too, is dipped in macabre portions. Director Bobby Kolli is rumouredly telling a gangster story. "The Blade that set the BLOODY BENCHMARK," the Concept Poster says.
In a way, MEGA158 and Pawan Kalyan's OG could have some aesthetic similarities. How much of onscreen gangsterism, how much bloodletting, and how much massacre the audience will be able to take is anybody's guess. This trend is certain to last this decade at the very least.
The film is produced by KVN Productions, which aims to be the next big thing like Mythri Movie Makers and Hombale Films.
