In the upcoming Bobby Kolli directorial (tentatively titled Mega 158), Kannappa fame Preity Mukundan is reportedly set to play the role of Chiranjeevi's daughter.While there was initial buzz suggesting that Anaswara Rajan (who recently debuted in Telugu with Champion) would take on the role, the latest reports indicate that the makers have finalized Preity for this crucial character.
Many, however, feel that Anaswara would be the better choice. She possesses an innocent look, a quality essential for playing the daughter of a major star. Her "face card" is perfectly suited for the role. While there is no official information regarding the character's requirements, it is unlikely the role will involve heavy action. If, however, Bobby has designed a semi-action role, Preity would undoubtedly be the superior option.
Meanwhile, there are rumours that the project is going to take lots of time to go on the floors. KVN Productions is said to be delaying the shoot because of the unexpected crisis faced by its next theatrical release, Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan.
