Couple Friendly has opened in theatres with strong word of mouth from the audience and a public rating of 9.5 on BookMyShow. On the evening of Day 1, actor Santosh Shoban expressed happiness over Rebel Star Prabhas congratulating him. "I normally feel shy about sharing things like this. However, sharing the news about Prabhas anna's appreciation is special. It is making me emotional," the actor told the crowds at a multiplex in Hyderabad, describing it as a high moment. "It is giving me a sense of victory," he added.
The Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD actor has watched the Ashwin Chandrasekhar directorial. "Such a lovely and beautiful film. Truly enjoyed watching it. Santosh and Manasa were wonderful, and great work by Ashwin. Congratulations to Ajay, UV Creations, and the whole team for bringing stories like this to the big screens," Prabhas wrote on Instagram. He further added that what Varsham was for him, Couple Friendly is for Santosh.
