Ahead of the theatrical release of Couple Friendly this Saturday (February 14), several industry persons have exuded confidence in its success.
Distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni endorsed the "rare love story" that is arriving at the cinemas for Valentine's Day. "Love is not just about falling in love, but about standing by the one you love. This film is close to reality," he said, adding that premiere shows on the evening of February 13 are getting packed fast.
Director Anil Ravipudi expressed immense confidence in the film, noting that the trailer gave him a "sure-shot hit feeling" and predicting that Santosh Sobhan will finally secure his "super-duper hit" this Valentine’s Day. He praised the movie as a balanced emotional ride, urging audiences to "go to theaters and enjoy it" during the perfect holiday slot.
Hero Sree Vishnu spoke warmly of his personal connection to UV Creations. He remarked that he considers their projects as his own. He specifically lauded Santosh’s natural, "boy next door" acting style that has impressed him since Golconda High School. The Samajavaragamana actor asserted his belief that the Telugu audience will continue their tradition of encouraging good performers by showing this film great love.
While the industry is already buzzword-tagging Couple Friendly as a hit, Biker director Abhilash Reddy is eager to witness that success firsthand in theaters alongside the audience, praising the passion of his producers at UV. Highlighting the film's broad appeal, Nandini Reddy noted that the visuals and music are beautiful, remarking that Santosh Sobhan and Manasa look like a real-life couple. Both Nandini Reddy and Swapna Cinemas' Swapna Dutt expressed strong confidence in Santosh’s talent, with her noting that the "content feels fresh" and that this film likely marks the long-awaited big break for the talented lead actor. Director Merlapaka Gandhi shared that all the pre-release promotional material released so far feels so "positive".
Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar maintained that the film was made with total honesty and "will not disappoint you," clarifying that the 'A' certificate is merely a byproduct of the title rather than the content; for their team, "A means All."
Actor Rajeev Kanakala will be seen as the heroine’s father. He noted that the film beautifully captures the relationship between the leads, praising the lead man for his visible dedication and Manasa for her impressive performance and screen presence.
