"Love is not planned. It just happens," says Harshith Reddy in the first look of Deewana, released ahead of Valentine's Day. The male protagonist's smooth life has turned upside down after he fell in love, and he might have landed in prison as a consequence. Yet, nothing keeps him from being dazzled by the special one, intoxicated as he is by her magical spell on him.
Harshith Reddy of Subham fame leads the romantic charge in this Sreekanth Sangishetty directorial. Music director Eswar Chand's soundscape and cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu's visual tone are expected to be intimate.
A balance between blissful romance and the kind of pain that feels strangely good is what the film is expected to achieve. To keep the storytelling sharp, editor Hrishikesh Pasapal is on board, while production designer Jhansi Gojala ensures the world these characters inhabit feels real.
The project, whose release date will be locked soon, is being steered by producers Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi under the ARHA Media and V Studios banners. With a lead who is ready to "give his life" for his beloved, Deewana is shaping up to be the go-to romantic drama for Summer 2026.
