'TV Video' from Thimmarajupalli TV is an ode to small-screen nostalgia

The latest single from the periodic rural drama Thimmarajupalli TV is a rhythmic time capsule. Titled TV Video, the track recreates the era when a TV set was the heartbeat of a rural community. Swaraj Keerthan's voice channels the energy reminiscent of Shankar Mahadevan. This vigor perfectly complements Vamsikanth Rekhana’s upbeat composition.

While the visuals paint a non-dramatic picture of wide-eyed villagers (they are enthralled and curious) witnessing the magic of a first dish connection, the songwriting gets philosophical in the second half. Lyricist Sanare does deeper reflections on outliving one's worries.

Thimmarajupalli TV is the maiden production venture of actor Kiran Abbavaram's KA Productions. Sai Tej and Vedashree are making their debut as the lead pair. Helmed by newcomer V Muniraju, the village-based comedy is yet to lock its release date.

Co-produced by Tejeshwar Reddy Velpucharla, the film is also produced by Sumaya Studios. Pradeep Kotte, Teja Vihan, Swathi Karimireddy, Amma Ramesh, Satyanarayana Vaddadi, Madhavi Prasad, TV Raman, Chittibabu, Latheesh Keelapattu, Rajashri Madaka, KL Madan, Anshuman, Raghuramavasi, Balaraju Pulusu, Saikrishna Sangapu, Karishma Nellore, and R. Vashisth are playing different roles.
