Couple Friendly has fetched actors Santosh Shoban and Manasa Varanasi glowing reviews. A 'Thank You' meet was held today in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh said, "The houseful boards we are seeing at the cinemas is a dream come true. Honest films are always liked. After tasting this success, I have started to feel more responsible. UV Creations is everything to me. It's like my family. 99% of this success is because of Ajay Kumar anna (co-producer). Once Dheeraj Mogilineni joined us, the energy was doubled. He is such a passionate distributor. His love for cinema is inspiring. Manasa is the heartbeat and soul of this film. She is getting appreciation of the kind I had expected." The film's 'Life is all about sudden goodbyes' theme touched him.
Manasa said that the movie has been receiving "crazy response". She added that media personnel sharing their personal views is special. "I am grateful for being part of a script like this. Santosh is an incredible performer. This is the kind of opportunity I was waiting for," the actress shared, mentioning the entire crew of Couple Friendly.
Ajay Kumar P of UV Concepts thanked the media for its support. "Although the project was completed six months back, we waited for a Valentine's Day. Santosh and Manasa patiently worked on this project exclusively," he added.
Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar began his speech by profusely thanking the media for their "immense support". He urged the media to continue to support them.
Distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni released the film only because it's a rare romantic drama. "Love stories have become few and far between. Revenue follows success. When I distributed a film like Baby, I had no calculations in mind. When Prabhas garu himself mentioned Varsham in the context of appreciating Couple Friendly, you can understand the impact. On this occasion, I would like to urge writers and directors to come up with love stories. Last year, I listened to about 100 stories. Hardly 5-10% of them were romances. The lead performances in Couple Friendly are brilliant. Credit goes to the writers for giving Manasa a solid character. The media has truly promoted our movie as their own. I always knew this film would be seen as a beautiful love story by everyone. I was so confident that I vowed not to speak on any platform if the film didn't do well. That speech was not meant for virality. I truly meant it. I hope director Ashwin makes Hyderabad his home and goes on to make beautiful Telugu movies here. Santosh is one of the finest actors among the new crop. Directors want to cast him in love stories; he is seen as a lover boy. UV Concepts and I are going to make another love story with the Santosh-Manasa duo for Valentine's Day release in 2027. They are a beautiful pair. Producers Vamsi and Vikram are extremely passionate.
