Don 3 is one of the most buzzworthy sequels that never went on the floors. It has been stuck in the pre-production for years. The culprit seems to be a never-ending creative dispute over its script! Actor Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment are now battling it out in the open.
Bollywood media reports today claimed that the Bollywood hero and the production house have asked the Producers Guild of India to step in and resolve the differences between them.
As per Excel, it has spent Rs 40 Cr on the sequel's scripting and pre-production. However, Ranveer is allegedly not ready to shoot for the movie because he didn't like the script. If he doesn't start shooting, the production house will lose a large chunk of the Rs 40 Cr forever! Whether or not he will ever do Don 3 is a big question now. Uncertainty looms large over the sequel.
Ranveer Singh currently awaits the theatrical release of Dhurandhar 2, on March 19.
