Yama Yamma is the latest song from Funky. Filmed on Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar (for the actress, this is her career's first dance number), the energetic song is set to tune by Bheems Ceciroleo, who is also its male singer. Rohini Sorrat joins the singer-composer as the female playback singer. Dev Pawar is the lyricist. Aata Sandeep's dance choreography is neither too Dhabidi Dhabidi-like nor is it too innocuous.
Funky is slated to be released in theatres on February 13. Vishwak plays a filmmaker, while Kayadu plays a producer. VK Naresh's comedy is expected to be hilarious, much like in the recent Sankranthi release, Nari Nari Naduma Murari.
The Tom-n-Jerry equation between the lead pair will be among the highlights in the comedy entertainer. Although producer S Naga Vamsi has tried to prepare the audience for a non-emotional laugh riot, it is hinted that Funky will have a commentary on the male protagonist's struggle with being expressive in a relationship. Co-produced by Sai Soujanya, Funky also features writing by Mohan Sato. Suresh Sarangam (cinematography), Navin Nooli (editing), and Jonny Shaik (art direction) have empowered key departments.
