A day before their highly anticipated film Kingdom hits theaters, lead actor Vijay Deverakonda, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, and actress Bhagyashree Borse addressed the media in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, Vijay shared his immense satisfaction with the film's outcome, stating, "We are extremely satisfied with the film’s output and deeply moved by the phenomenal response we are seeing in pre-bookings." He then added that the support of Telugu audiences has allowed them to approach the release with a "calm confidence."

The hero highlighted that Gowtam Tinnanuri has dealt with a universal theme. "Every war in history has been fought for family, homeland, or love — and this one is no different." He concluded by assuring that Kingdom is a story deeply rooted in family emotions and that viewers would be drawn into its world within the first two minutes.

The actor suggested that he is not aggressive these days because he has overcome the fear of being manipulated. He attributed his impactful performance in Kingdom to Anirudh's music as much as Gowtam’s direction and the cinematography.

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi acknowledged the current challenges in achieving strong box office openings, but expressed his pleasure that Kingdom had "passed its first test" due to encouraging advance bookings, making them hopeful for a successful run and solid collections. He clarified that Kingdom is not a conventional action film but rather a gangster drama with Gowtam Tinnanuri's signature emotional depth. Vamsi also pointed out a unique aspect of the film's production, saying, "What makes Kingdom special is that we didn’t rely on sets — most of it was shot in real locations."

The Tamil separatist angle pertaining to the LTTE is shown non-controversially in Kingdom, it was hinted.

Lead actress Bhagyashree Borse revealed her role as Madhu, describing it as "a crucial role in the story." She expressed gratitude to Gowtam sir for crafting such a beautifully layered character and shared her enjoyment of working alongside Vijay.

Vijay, talking about his female co-star, revealed that she had learned her Sinhalese lines and mouthed them with ease in their first scene together. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri didn't turn up because he wants to spend time with his family after grueling post-production works.
