Kingdom has grossed Rs 1 Cr in Kerala so far. What makes this a one-of-its-kind box-office record is that it is the first Telugu film to achieve this feat for a non-Malayalam version in the State.

"The Kerala collections surprised us. Our film opened with Rs 50 lakh there on Day 1," producer Naga Vamsi Suryadevara said.

The Kerala record comes on the back of Kingdom's exceptional overseas performance, which has been soaring. On the back of effective online bookings, the spy action thriller shot in Sri Lanka and other locations, is poised to become the biggest grosser in the career of actor Vijay Deverakonda.

Kingdom, at the aggregate level worldwide, amassed Rs 67 Cr worldwide gross in just 3 days after taking a mind-blowing Rs 39 Cr opening on July 31.

Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and co-starring the Satyadev-Venkatish VP-Bhagyashri Borse trio, is produced by Sithara Entertainments.
