The battlefield is set, the stakes are sky-high, and Yash Raj Films has just ignited a fuse with the electrifying trailer for War 2. Dropped like a stealth missile, this glimpse into the action-thriller universe is touted to be pulse-pounding.
Hrithik Roshan, the chiseled enigma who owned the screen in the original War, returns with a tease that’s as sharp as his signature moves. “It will not be easy to take sides in this War,” he tweeted. Enter Jr NTR, the dynamo whose response, “You’ve taken sides before… But this time, everything changes,” crackles with defiance and mystery.
Some of the interesting lines include: "I am no longer a human. I am a weapon. A weapon to destroy. Or be destroyed myself". The two heroes have the 'death before dishonour' and 'service before self' principle.
Directed by the visionary Ayan Mukerji and produced by the maestro of blockbusters, Aditya Chopra, War 2 is shot by cinematographer Benjamin Jasper ACS and set to tune by Pritam. The BGM is by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara.
Spiro Razatos, Franz Spilhaus, Anl Arasu, Oh Sea Young, Craig Macrae, and Sunil Rodrigues [ROD] are the action directors. The Hindi original has dialogues written by Abbas Tyrewala. The screenplay is written by Shridhar Raghavan.
War 2 is slated to head to theatres on August 14th.
