The Jr NTR-Hrithik Roshan dance-off in War 2 is going to be phenomenal. The makers of the spy action thriller have decided to hold on to the full song until the movie's theatrical release.
Writer-producer Aditya Chopra is relying on his previous experience with Bunty Aur Babli's Kajra Re and Dhoom 3’s Kamli music strategy for the War 2 song. "The two-hero song in War 2 will be revealed only in bits in the form of a song teaser. The full song will be preserved for the release date. The song glimpse is set to drop this week," the makers said.
Both Aditya and director Ayan Mukerji consulted the Tarak-Hrithik duo in making the crucial decision of "building the hype and hunger for this song till the release and not give the full song to people to watch it for free".
This is in sharp contrast to what we have seen in Tollywood over the years. The most viral dance move of Naatu Naatu was revealed, and the full song was released much before the movie's release.
War 2 heads to theatres on August 14.
