"War 2 doesn't seem to be just about action, there is more to it. It features surprises for sure," Trivikram Srinivas said, speaking at the pre-release event of War 2 on Sunday. He described 2025 as a Hrithik-Rama Rao Nama Samvatsaram, adding that he was looking forward to watching the Jr NTR-Hrithik Roshan dance-off in War 2 on the big screen.
"It has been believed that Hrithik and Tarak are playing enemies in War 2. But, today, they are getting along like friends. It seems they both are each other's villains in the story of War 2," Trivikram said, describing the two heroes as the two tigers of Indian cinema.
Dil Raju described Jr NTR and Hrithik as legends. "Director Ayan Mukerji is on a hat-trick. War 2 is going to be a blockbuster all over. The dance-off between the two actors is going to be a trend-setter like Naatu Naatu," he added.
S Naga Vamsi said that War 2 is like a straight Telugu film. "Ayan Mukerji has shown Tarak anna like a Telugu director. We are welcoming Hrithik sir to the Telugu film industry. Last year, you showered love on Devara. This August 14th, War 2 should get ten times more. The Telugu nett. on Day 1 should be at least one rupee more than the Hindi nett. We should make Tarak anna proud across India. War 2 is shockingly good. If you are not satisfied by War 2, I will never deliver speeches in my life," Naga Vamsi said.
War 2 will head to theatres on August 14.
