Gaayapadda Simham is director Tharun Bhascker's last attempt as a lead man before he shifts his entire focus to his forte: directing. The film, co-starring Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary, is likely going to be released in theatres in either March or April. Kasyap Sreenivas is its director.
Also starring Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles, the comedy entertainer will be rich in satirical humour.
Producers Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal are looking forward to a decent theatrical release despite the fact that Tharun's most recent release, Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, was a total dud. Umesh Bansal of Z Studios has backed a series of flops in recent times in Telugu: Sundeep Kishan's Mazaka, Rakesh Roshan's Champion, and Sudheer Babu's disastrous Jatadhara. He is also producing Sangeeth Shoban's Raakaasaa.
Tharun Bhascker has lined up at least two movies as a director. ENE Repeat, the sequel to Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, will hit the cinemas in the second half of 2026.
