At the trailer launch event of Couple Friendly on Monday, UV Concepts' Ajay Kumar didn't confirm the speculation that Vishwambhara will hit the cinemas in May of this year. "Let Vamsi (of UV Creations) confirm the release date," Ajay said, passing the buck to the actual producer. He clarified that the fantasy entertainer's delay has been necessitated by a thorough revamp of VFX. "The first teaser wasn't received well. The quality of output has since been revitalized," he added.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's fans want the film to be released in May at any cost. If Ram Charan's Peddi is not a May release, Vishwambhara should ideally get ready to grace the big screens in the first half of that month. That way, the family audience will flock to the theatres in large numbers, especially because no star hero releases are going to be there after Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Vishwambhara is directed by Vasissht Mallidi of Bimbisara fame. MM Keeravani is its music director.
