"The date of his arrival changes, but not his MIGHTY GRIT," wrote the makers of Peddi, announcing the new release date of their pan-Indian movie. The Ram Charan-starrer will head to theatres on April 30.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is one of the biggest pan-Indian movies in the making. AR Rahman is its music director, while Rathnavelu is the Director of Photography. Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are producing this multi-lingual romantic action comedy drama.
The film, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, is mostly set in a village. An episode set in New Delhi will be a highlight.
Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani and Viji Chandrasekhar are playing different roles. Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru has the greatest stakes in the film, while Mythri is a secondary investor.
Inevitable Reshuffle:
Peddi's release on April 30 will mean that there will be a reshuffling of one or two important movies. Akhil Akkineni's Lenin, currently scheduled for May 1, will get postponed.
