"A man’s story that rises beyond battles… to become a revolution for the ages," wrote Mollywood actor Unni Mukundan, announcing that he will be playing Narendra Modi in the PM's big-ticket biopic. Titled Maa Vande, the film will be released in multiple languages (including English and almost all major Indian languages).
"May glory be revived and brighter things await," the actor added, sharing the announcement poster which says that a mother's courage is bigger than battles. The bond between the three-time PM and his mother, Heeraben, will be a crucial emotional element in the movie.
A massive technical crew has been assembled for the prestigious biopic. King Solomon of Baahubali, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR and Eega fame will be choreographing the action scenes. Ravi Basrur of KGF and Salaar fame will be composing the BGM. KK Senthilkumar, the cinematographer of Baahubali, RRR and Magadheera fame is on board. Sabu Cyril, the production designer of Enthiran, Baahubali and RRR fame is on board.
Silver Cast Creations, it is evident, is making the biopic on a royal scale. Director Kranthi Kumar CH has described Prime Minister Modi as a "spotless" leader.
