Since Mirchi in 2013, Anushka Shetty has barely acted in nine movies. Additionally, she played cameos in three movies. Ghaati is her upcoming movie.
Interestingly, the Baahubali actress has promised to act in a good number of movies from 2026. Saying that she has been consciously selective since Baahubali, the Bhaagamathie and Nishabdham actress added, "Wherever I go, people have this question. However, starting from the end of this year and beginning of next year, you will see more of me. Little more often. I will be consciously working towards being out there more.” Anushka made this utterance in a phone conversation with Rana Daggubati.

Ghaati is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and will head to theatres on September 5th. It is produced by UV Creations. Vikram Prabhu plays Anushka's adventurous love interest in the action thriller. As per Anushka, the film was shot in locations where no other Indian film has ventured before.
