Before Baahubali was cemented, SS Rajamouli toyed with multiple story ideas. Among them was a fantasy. He mooted seven story ideas in all. But none of them satisfied him.
"He tried to develop those stories into scripts. Some scripts were 60-70% complete. He was either unhappy with the climax or was not excited about their scale. In all these stories, he imagined me in a royal role," Prabhas revealed in an interview before the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Baahubali: The Epic is slated to be released in theatres on October 31. It's a single-film, remastered version of the two Baahubali movies.
