Vijay Deverakonda and director Rahul Sankrityan are raring to create a trend with their film. VD 14, which is yet to be titled, is the latest project from the Taxiwala duo.
Lately, social media has been flooded with messages from Vijay’s fans. Many of them urged Rahul to give their favorite star a solid and memorable film, something beyond what they have seen so far from him. One such fan, Yashwanth, posted an emotional request asking the team not to compromise on quality or technical standards. Rahul Sankrityan noticed the message and gave a reply that thrilled fans. He assured that VD 14 would fully satisfy what the fans of the Kingdom actor are hoping for.
In December last year, the movie completed a wild schedule. Recently, the director said that Vijay will unleash his "nata vishwa roopam" mode. "When you see Vijay’s performance in VD 14, you will be shocked. You will witness his true acting prowess, a complete transformation," he said. Featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, the film's story takes place from 1854 to 1878, incorporating fictionalized, dramatized events. Mythri Movie Makers is producing VD14.
