MM Keeravani rarely sings songs for other music directors. Sri Chidambaram is the latest movie to feature his voice. A melody titled Velledaarilo has come as a pleasant surprise. Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vashishta feature as the lead pair.
"The song is already getting a warm response for its soothing tune and heartfelt singing. Many listeners have connected with it instantly," said producers Chinta Vineesh Reddy and Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy. The duo has bankrolled the movie under the Sri Chakras Entertainment banner. Music for the film is composed by Chandu Ravi, while the lyrics are written by Chandrasekhar. The song stands out for its simplicity, with Keeravani’s voice giving it a deep impact.
Writer-director Vinay Rathnam has also worked with Gopinath, Shivakumar Matta, Kalpalatha Garlapati, Arun Kumar, Tulasi, Naidu Moram, Shankar Rao, and others.
Recently, the movie's teaser was out. The makers described Sri Chidambaram as a gentle love story set in a vintage village backdrop, told in a natural and refreshing manner. The film raises interesting questions, including why the hero is known as Chidambaram in the village and the reason behind his constant use of spectacles. A new-age narrative is promised.
The technical crew features cinematographer Akshay Ram Podishetty, editor Anwar Ali, and art director Vishnu Vardhan Pulla. Sri Chidambaram will lock its release date soon.
MM Keeravani has worked on movies like Hari Hara Veera Mallu in recent times. SS Rajamouli's Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead, is his next big outing.
