A new song titled Barbaad from Saiyaara is out. Yash Raj Films and director Mohit Suri have worked with the talented singer Jubin Nautiyal, who as per them is the "voice of the generation when it comes to romance".
"I was always sure that the album of Saiyaara would have Jubin singing a soulful romantic track," says Suri, adding that Jubin's voice is pitch-perfect for the song. "It is his unique voice that has made him a star singer. Only gifted singers can dish out romantic songs that resonate with listeners," he added. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are the lead pair of the awaited movie.
The song Barbaad builds on the power of personal nostalgia. "Barbaad is a song about how love can consume lovers and yet leave them wanting for more," the director ponders. “We hope people love Barbaad too and give our film more love in the run up to our release," the director observes. The title track of the movie received an "incredible response".
Tujhe Kitna Chahein Aur (from Kabir Singh), Lo Safar (from Baaghi 2), Bawara Mann (from Jolly L.L.B 2) and Kaabil Hoon (from Kaabil) are among Jubin's popular songs.
July 18, 2025 is when Saiyraara will head to theatres. The film has cinematography by Vikas Sivaraman. Sankalp Sadanah has penned the story and screenplay.
