The first song from Annagaru Vostaru is character-driven. The lyrics talk about the male lead (Karthi) fantasizing about a biopic of him. "I am a rich kidduu. I want Rajamouli to make a biopic on me," he sings in an old-fashioned discoteque-like setup. Santhosh Narayanan's composition relies on the sound design and atmosphere to convey the mood. SP Abhishek and Haripriya have sung the number.
Besides Krithi Shetty, the film has Shilpa Manjunath as another important female actor. Both Satyaraj and Rajkiran have important roles. The film co-stars Madhur Mittal, Anandaraj, Karunakaran and others. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green has also worked with artists like GM Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, PL Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan, and Madhur Mittal.
