Positioning Mirai as India’s most ambitious action-adventure saga is yielding results for People Media Factory. The pitch recently received a mega push in the Hindi market with Dharma Productions backing the movie. Karan Johar is said to have watched the movie even though it was not ready 100%.
The Teja Sajja-starring visual extravaganza has since received a booster shot in three other markets. In Karnataka, KGF and Salaar makers Hombale Films will be releasing Mirai.
In Tamil Nadu, AGS Cinemas will be releasing the movie. AGS Kalpathi Brothers are known for recent movies like Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time and Dragon.
In Kerala, another big distribution house is backing Mirai. "Honoured to join hands with the legendary Gokulam Gopalan garu to India’s biggest Action-Adventure Saga to God’s Own Country," PMF wrote.
Mirai is directed by Karthik Ghattamneni. It stars Manchu Manoj as the villain. The film will head to theatres on September 12.
