Power Star Pawan Kalyan took to social media to write on a remarkable milestone in his elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career — 47 years in the film industry. The OG actor paid tribute to his elder brother's enduring legacy.
"I still vividly remember when ‘Peddha Annaya’ acted as the hero in the film Praanam Khareedu," wrote Pawan, referring to Chiranjeevi’s first theatrical release. “We were in Nellore at that time, and I was still in school. We went to Kanakamahal Theater, and the elation I felt that day is beyond words."
Pawan Kalyan praised his brother’s evolution over the decades, stating, “In his 47-year film journey, it is truly inspiring to see how he has grown by leaps and bounds in every aspect, yet has remained humble at heart, never losing his healing and helping nature.”
He concluded the message with wishes: “May Durga Maa bless him with a long life filled with success, health, and prosperity. And also, we wish to continue seeing him in many more versatile roles in the years to come. For him, there is no such thing as retirement, unless he chooses it. And knowing him, he never does... A fighter by birth.”
Pawan Kalyan awaits the release of They Call Him OG on September 25.
