Kantara: Chapter 1 is slated to hit the cinemas on October 2. Hombale Films has entered into solid distribution deals with prominent players.
The film’s distribution in North India will be handled by AA Films, which has previously collaborated with different production houses on major titles like Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD, HanuMan and Adipurush. It also released Hombale Films' recent blockbuster, Mahavatar Narsimha, in Hindi.
In Kerala, Kantara: Chapter 1 will be released by Prithviraj Sukumaran's distribution house. The overseas market will see Phars Film.
Since Kantara was released in 2022 by Geetha Arts in the Telugu States, Kantara: Chapter 1, too, is likely to be released by Allu Aravind's company. Geetha Arts and Hombale Films have been going great lately, as their collaboration on Mahavatar Narsimha recently showed.
Acted, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, Kantara: Chapter 1 co-stars Rukmini Vasanth and others. B Ajaneesh Loknath is its music director.
