Sushmitha Konidela, Megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter, has earned the admiration of the film industry after the success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. However, a majority of the audience perceive her as someone who had it easy.
Speaking at the film's first post-release event speech, on Sunday, Chiru used the opportunity to alter his daughter's public image by revealing that she hadn't sought a single rupee from him. "In the past, a banner made an offer to unofficially produce a movie featuring me as the hero. Sushmitha was asked to just lend her name as the producer. In the end, she would get a fixed amount of money without making any investment. She came to me and told me she was rejecting the offer. She wanted to gain experience and earn it. She didn't mind the result. She wanted to deserve the end result," Chiranjeevi shared.
Chiranjeevi further revealed that Sushmitha had arranged her own finances by borrowing her portion of investment. She shared the credits with producer Sahu Garapati for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
