In 2024, it was widely rumoured that Prasanth Varma had pitched a storyline to Prabhas. This was a couple of months after HanuMan became a massive hit.
What is the status of the project? Speaking to a journalist during the ongoing SIIMA Awards event in Dubai, Varma stated that he is ready anytime. He suggested that the script is ready and that production will be kicked off immediately once Prabhas provides his dates.
After HanuMan last year, the director cemented a project with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The project was shelved after the actor controversially exited it unannounced.
