Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 (Hindi) was released in theatres today. As expected, Bollywood film critics have panned the movie.
"It is not just another Tiger Shroff action film, it's a close to three-hour hallucination where the story collapses so fast you don't get time to process, care, or even hope for a comeback," wrote India Today, handing over a 1-star rating to the movie.
"Tiger Shroff has the fitness levels and the martial arts moves needed to carry off the action scenes, but not the ability to play a man so devastated by his loss that he loses all sense of proportion," opined Scroll. The Indian Express gave a 1-star rating. "One star to Tiger Shroff film for surprising us every time we think Ronny surely has butchered enough, or when you think Sanjay Dutt can’t be doing his maniacal laugh one more time," the critic there wrote.
Initial online reviews lauded Tiger’s “beast-like,” high-energy performance and the stylized action sequences. However, the storyline and execution garnered mixed responses—with some critics hoping for deeper narrative layers. Co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa and others, Baaghi 4 is directed by A Harsha.
