He expressed mild anger when his father, after the glitches occurred, suggested that Lord Hanuman was behind him and guiding him, saying: "Is this how he takes care."
The Rastriya Vanara Sena has now filed a complaint with the Saroor Nagar police in Hyderabad, stating that the remarks made by Rajamouli about Lord Hanuman were offensive. Members of the little-known Hindu outfit requested the police to file a case against the Baahubali and RRR maker and take necessary action to ensure that no one makes inappropriate comments about Hindu deities in the future.
Rajamouli's uncalculated comments were in the form of an emotional outburst. The outrage over such innocuous comments on social media has been bizarre. It's likely that the Varanasi maker will tender an apology for "hurting" the sentiments of the Hindu community and ensure permanent closure to the matter.
