Raju Weds Rambai Trailer: Ethereal love story hints at breaking norms

Is love conditional or unconditional when it leads to confusions and anxieties instead of pleasant feelings? Is a toxic form of love the biggest enemy of love? The upcoming village-based love story, Raju Weds Rambai, poses these questions. The film's Trailer, released today, hints at a fresh, not-so-conventional idea of pure romance.

"I have been in love with you ever since you hit puberty," says Raju, played by Akhil. Tejaswini's Rambai plans to get pregnant with his child, only to face an unexpected set of consequences, fuelled by her abusive father's (played by Chaitu Jonnalagadda) ego. Director Saailu Kampati's narration is both feel-good and tense, as demanded by the different situations.

Also starring Sivaji Raja, Anita Chowdhary, Kavitha Srirangam and others, the film's cinematography is by Wajid Baig. Edited by Naresh Adupa, the costumes are designed by Priyanka Veeraboyina, Aarthi Vinnakota.

Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works are backing yet another content film after Little Hearts. Raju Weds Rambai, touted to be the "greatest love story", is slated for a grand theatrical release on November 21. Venu Udugula, Rahul Mopidevi have produced Raju Weds Rambai.
