Mahesh Babu has received notices from the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission in Telangana concerning his endorsement of a real estate company. This action follows a complaint filed by a Hyderabad-based doctor who alleged she was defrauded of Rs 34.8 lakh for plots that were non-existent. The Guntur Kaaram star is accused of promoting the firm without due diligence.
At the time of writing, there was no statement from Mahesh Babu’s team.
Second notice in three months:
In April, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued a summons to Mahesh Babu in connection with the Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group case. He was required to appear for questioning on April 27th concerning Rs 5.9 crore he allegedly received from Sai Surya Developers, comprising Rs 3.5 crore in cash and Rs 2.5 crore through RTGS. The amount of money was received by the superstar in return for promoting the group.
