Akhanda 2's arrival this week hasn't scared Mowgli. The film, featuring Roshan Kanakala and Bandi Saroj Kumar, will hit the cinemas on December 13. That is, it is coming out just a day after the Balakrishna-Boyapati Sreenu movie.
"The LION roars, and Mowgli steps back to welcome the Jungle King," People Media Factory wrote on social media; "Lion" is an honorific referring to Nata Simha Balakrishna.
Mowgli will open with premiere shows on the evening of December 12 in the domestic market (Telugu States). The romantic actioner is directed by Sandeep Raaj of Colour Photo fame.
Mowgli is distributed by Prathyangira Cinemas in North America. "All overseas theatres have received the full content today, Dec 9th Tuesday and KDMs are issued. Everything is locked, loaded, and ready! We are all set for the grand overseas premieres this Thursday, Dec 11th from 6 PM EST. All passes enabled… let the jungle madness begin! (sic)," the distribution house stated.
