A song titled ‘Paisa Dum Dum’ from Gurram Paapi Reddy was released on Monday. Ahead of the movie's release in theatres on December 19, the team spoke of the major highlights of the dark comedy.

Jeevan Kumar's character comes with a peculiar attitude of its own. Even his costumes are going to be different. "This film will be a milestone in my filmography. The output is exceptional," he said.

AAY fame Rajkumar Kasireddy promised a wholesome, completely new experience to the audience. He urged the media to help reach their movie to the audience. A riveting trailer, to be released soon, was also promised.

Producer Jayakanth (Bobby) noted that the movie will be in the box-office race at a time when Avatar 3 will also be showing in theatres. "We are doing this because we have total faith in the weight of our movie's content," the new producer said, urging the audience to encourage fresh bankrollers like him.

Director Murali Manohar underlined the movie's dark comedy genre and the realm in which he operates. He lauded the entire cast and crew for their immense hard work. Calling Gurram Paapi Reddy a layered film with multi-dimensional characters, he highlighted its comedy quotient. Since noted Tamil actors like Yogi Babu and John Vijay are part of the cast, a Tamil release is also being worked out. "Though dark comedies often carry both positive and negative elements, our story leans towards positivity. Some characters are inspired by people I have met in real life. This film explores how the lives of clever and not-so-clever people change when their roles reverse. We’ve showcased this conflict through humor," the director added.

Faria Abdullah described Gurram Paapi Reddy as a new-age film whose template is atypical. Doing a comedy like this one was a revelation to her.

Hero Naresh Agastya revealed that it was writer Poorna who had conceived the idea behind Gurram Paapi Reddy. He strongly believes that his titular character will be a stand-out feature in his filmography. "My aim is to create commercial films grounded in sound logic and sensibility. In this particular story, I believe in an ensemble—every character is a hero in their own right," he said.

The creators of Gurram Paapi Reddy are super-confident of a hit. Bankrolled by Venu Saddi, Amar Bura, and Jayakanth (Bobby), the film is presented by MJM Motion Pictures and Bura and Saddi Creative Arts.
