Mohammed Khayyum, more commonly known by his stage name LoBo, has been convicted in a road accident case by a District Court in Telangana. In 2018, in a road accident, his four-wheeler mauled an auto-rickshaw approaching in the opposite direction, killing two.
More than seven years later, he was found guilty. A TV anchor and emcee, LoBo famously participated in Bigg Boss Telugu season 5. He entered the show on Day 1 and was evicted on Day 63.
Although he has acted in many films, LoBo, by and large, remained an unfamiliar artist for the family audience. His show on a TV channel was fairly known among a section of youngsters. It's believed that he spiked his remuneration after Bigg Boss and therefore, offers thinned somewhat.
LoBo will have to serve a jail term of one year.
