Actress Anjali is set to play the lead role in an upcoming film launched today. Produced by Rajachandrasekhar Reddy Kandula via 9 Creations, the female-centric movie will be helmed by Rajasekhar Reddy Pulicharla.
"We have teamed up with Rajasekhar Reddy because his previous movies, namely, Software Sudheer and Galodu, were entertaining. Our movie with Anjali has a fresh concept and unique treatment. We plan to commence the shoot soon," the makers said, adding that the film's complete cast and crew will be announced shortly.
Cinematographer C. Ram Prasad, who has previously worked on many Balakrishna movies, is on board.
Anjali has acted in Ram Charan's Game Changer and Vishwak Sen's Gangs Of Godavari in recent times. "It took time for me to solidify my position. I am now trying to maintain that position. Horizons have widened these days for actors. Films have started to be character-based. The characters are speaking for the film. I am doing films in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam as well," she said in an interview. She won Nandi Awards for Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Geethanjali.
