Actor Siddu Jonnalagadda has grown from strength to strength since DJ Tillu. The 2022 release was made on a budget of Rs 10 Cr. This was stated by producer S Naga Vamsi himself in an interview post the movie's release.
But the inflation since then is astounding. The budget of Tillu Square was Rs 40 Cr. Since it was a sequel, the exponential spike was not utterly shocking.
What is flabbergasting is the budget of Telusu Kada and Badass, two of Siddu's upcoming movies. "These movies are being made on a budget of Rs 50-60 Cr. The best part is that I don't have any written agreements with the makers of these movies. Everything runs on faith between us," Siddu said on Raw Talks with VK, a podcast.
It is unimaginable that Rs 50-60 Cr is riding on Telusu Kada, produced by People Media Factory, a banner that allegedly wrapped up Mirai on Rs 70 Cr.
