Swayambhu, starring Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, may have clinched a spectacular theatrical deal. As per some news reports on Saturday, the film's overseas theatrical release rights are bagged by Phars Film. The distribution house shelled out Rs 7 Cr.
If true, the makers of the movie have struck gold. While the genre of Swayambhu holds a crowd-pulling promise, it's also true that even its teaser is not out yet. So, confidence in the movie's content shows. The overseas deal is reportedly the highest in the career of the Karthikeya 2 star.
The historical epic period action drama is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on February 13, 2026, coinciding with Maha Shivratri. The entire shoot for Swayambhu has been officially wrapped up. The filming spanned 170 days over the course of two years. Samyuktha Menon and Nabha Natesh are its female leads. Sunil, Subbaraju, and Satya have different roles.
