Speaking at the Bhimavaram Balma song launch event of Anaganaga Oka Raju, actor Naveen Polishetty said that he was worried about how he would be entertaining the audience after three hits: Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, Jathi Ratnalu, and Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. "I met with a major accident (in 2023) and suffered multiple fractures. My only concern during the one year I couldn't work was what kind of a film I should come back with," Naveen told the crowds at the venue.
He described the movie as a commercial 'pandaga' cinema. "The support I have received, both online and offline, has been very encouraging. This film has an amazing love story and all the elements that made me fall in love with Telugu cinema," Naveen assured the audience, adding that Meenakshi Chaudhary's comedy timing will surely surprise them. He mentioned producer S Naga Vamsi, composer Mickey J Meyer, and director Maari.
Meenakshi said that the Sankranthi is going to be very special. "Besides our favourite Prabhas garu's movie (The Raja Saab), you are going to enjoy our movie, too. She described Naveen as a powerhouse of a talent who is selfless and dedicated. "He is a one-man army. He is awesome, he is amazing. You will enjoy our chemistry," the Guntur Kaaram actress added.
Anaganaga Oka Raju will head to theatres on 14 January 2026.
