Actor Nikhil Siddhartha has opened up about Wednesday's accident on the sets of The India House, a period drama set in the times of British India. The accident didn't result in any harm to humans. The expensive equipment got washed away due to a water tank burst.
"We are all safe. Sometimes in our quest to give the best cinematic experience, we take risks. Today, we survived a huge mishap thanks to the alert crew and the precautions taken. We lost expensive equipment, but by God's grace, there was no human damage," wrote Nikhil.
Last year, Nikhil was seen in SPY and Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, a crime thriller. Both films featuring the Karthikeya 2 actor bombed at the box office. This year, he is most likely to be seen only in one movie: Swayambhu. The film's production hasn't been carried out smoothly.
The India House has multiple producers backing it. Ram Charan is one of them. It is not clear what kind of stakes the Game Changer actor has in the project. Nikhil Siddhartha is counting big on Swayambhu and The India House.
