Krithi Shetty expressed discomfort while filming bold scenes with Nani in Shyam Singha Roy. In an interview after the movie's release, she suggested that she wouldn't do a sensual/steamy scene if she were given a choice in the future.
"At the moment, I am not uncomfortable doing such scenes," Krithi said in an interview in 2022.
In Shyam Singha Roy, the Uppena actress also had a smoking scene. The nature of this scene, too, didn't leave a good taste in her mouth.
"I look for roles where I can make my presence felt. It depends on the director how he wants to bring your character out. Even if my role has a limited screentime, it's about how much versatility I can bring to the table. 'Shyam Singha Roy' had me in a short role. But that role helped me prove that I was up for urbane roles. Playing a Princess is one of my dream roles. I want to play something like what Anushka Shetty played in 'Baahubali'," Krithi Shetty said in an interview last year before the release of Manamey.
Love Insurance Kompany is Krithi Shetty's upcoming major release. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead, the film will be a Diwali release in both Tamil and Telugu.
