Malayalam actor Swasika was recently seen in Nithiin's Thammudu as Gutthi. Her negative role in the film also necessitated an action scene.
In her latest interview, Swasika revealed that she was approached for a role in Ram Charan's Peddi. While she is aware that Peddi is an enormous movie, she declined the offer because she was asked to play the hero's mother. "I don’t know how it would turn out if I had done it, but at this point, I don’t feel the need to play Ram Charan’s mother. So, I said no," she has been quoted as saying. Swasika hinted that she was shocked that she was offered such a character.
Swasika has appeared in numerous Malayalam films in supporting and leading roles, including Chathuram (2022), Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016), and Porinju Mariam Jose (2019). She was also seen in the recent Retro, starring Suriya in the lead.
