Actress Swara Bhasker gained wide recognition for her supporting roles in commercially successful Hindi films such as Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and its sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015). Her performance in Raanjhanaa (2013) also earned her critical acclaim.
Swara Bhaskar is in the news for stating that all humans are, by default, bisexual in their sexual orientation. "If you leave people to themselves, they are all bisexuals, but heterosexuality is an ideology that has been put in us for thousands of years. Because that is how the human race will perpetuate, so it has to be the norm," Swara said.
She also revealed that she has had a huge crush on Dimple Yadav, the wife of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
In 2023, Swara Bhasker married political activist Fahad Ahmad, who is a state president of the youth wing of the Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra.
