"A thrilling fusion of comedy, action, and entertainment, featuring a spectacular ensemble and supporting crew," the makers of Gurram Paapi Reddy wrote, sharing the Teaser for their dark comedy film with a courtroom track. Led by Naresh Agastya and Jathi Ratnalu fame Faria Abdullah, the entertainer features Brahmanandam in the role of a judge. Kollywood comedian Yogi Babu has a major role alongside Rajkumar Kasireddy and others.
Speaking at the teaser launch event on Monday, producer Jayakanth (Bobby) described his movie as a thorough joyride. He thanked Venu Saddi and Amar Bura for stepping in to complete the project as producers. Amar Bura described Gurram Paapi Reddy as a dream project. "You will witness something magical on the silver screen," he added. Presenter Dr. Sandhya Goli stated that the film's concept is fresh. She is particularly grateful for Yogi Babu and Brahmi for doing the film.
Brahmanandam described director Murali Manohar as passionate. In his speech, he fondly mentioned fellow comedy artists in the film. From Prabhas Srinu to AAY fame Rajkumar Kasireddy, from Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi fame Jeevan Kumar to the super-popular Yogi Babu, everyone was appreciated. Brahmi further described Gurram Paapi Reddy as a "refreshing, comedy-driven thriller".
Actor Prabhas Srinu thanked director Murali Manohar for the opportunity, stating that acting alongside Yogi Babu and Brahmanandam was a delight. He described the film as a "full package, offering comedy, action, and crime".
Yogi Babu recalled the love his film Sir Madam (starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen) received from Telugu audiences and mentioned playing another fun character in this new film.
Hero Naresh Agastya clarified that, although he was called the hero of the film, every character in the film held significance. He described working with stars like Brahmanandam and Yogi Babu as an amazing experience, noting he had never done a role like this before and immediately agreed upon hearing the story.
Director Murali Manohar emphasized that every team member was deeply involved, with Naresh and Faria, along with about nine top artists, fully supporting the film. He highlighted Brahmanandam's central character, who introduces all others, assuring that Gurram Paapi Reddy would definitely entertain.
