Samajavaragamana fame Reba Monica John was seen in the recent Coolie as actor Sathyaraj's daughter. She barely had a solo shot in the movie. And it was a no-dialogue role.
The young talent has expressed disappointment regarding her role in the movie, suggesting that director Lokesh Kanagaraj didn't do justice to her. "I am really upset and disappointed. I know I could have offered so much more but sometimes things don't go your way," while noting her gratitude for working with Rajinikanth.
It is speculated that she had shot for many more scenes, which somehow didn't make it to the final edit. It happens a lot of times in the film industry, especially with big-ticket movies.
With Coolie disappointing her, she has now pinned hopes on Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan, to be released in theatres on 9 January 2026.
