As per some the buzz in the town, Posani Krishna Murali plans to make a fresh start in the film industry. After he became politically partisan and made brazen comments against Pawan Kalyan a few years ago, he became a persona non grata. He is now hitting the restart button.
As per a media report, Operation Aruna Reddy is his next movie. A socio-political drama, it will be headlined and directed by him. The story will unfold as a journalist's mission.
Posani Krishna Murali has directed a few Telugu films before. Sravanamasam (2005) was his directorial debut. Operation Duryodhana (2007), was a political thriller that became quite successful. It starred Srikanth and Mumaith Khan. Mental Krishna (2009), Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu (2009), and Dushasana (2011) are his other directorials.
Posani was seen as a politically neutral person when Operation Duryodhana was made. He now doesn't have that image. A filmmaker shouldn't be seen as being the lackey of an established or traditional political party. R Narayana Murthy's films are pro-Communist, but he has the image of being a politically non-aligned filmmaker.
