Adivi Sesh-starrer Dacoit is supposed to hit the cinemas for Christmas. The action thriller's December 25th release has reportedly been called off because Sesh has been recuperating from an injury lately. He is unable to meet the deadline, prompting the indefinite postponement of the movie.
Since the Christmas-New Year Eve window is too good to be missed out on, a few films are gunning for the slot. Champion, starring Roshan Meka in the lead, today announced that it will be arriving at theatres on December 25th. Backed by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film's rumoured budget is Rs 50 Cr. This figure is too gargantuan to not be taken with a sack of salt. If Champion becomes a box-office hit, Roshan will become a year-end champ from Telugu cinema.
