Actor Mammootty is back in front of the camera, joining the Hyderabad schedule for director Mahesh Narayanan's multi-starrer film, which has been officially titled Patriot. Billed as the biggest film of all time in Malayalam, the project reunites megastar Mammootty and superstar Mohanlal on screen after a considerable gap, with their combination scenes slated for the remaining schedules.
The ensemble cast features a stellar line-up including Pushpa actor Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, star heroine Nayanthara, and Revathi in lead roles, alongside actors like Jinu Joseph, Rajeev Menon, Danish Hussain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, Paradha actress Darshana Rajendran, and Prakash Belavadi.
The film's ambitious technical team includes Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan, with music scored by Sushin Shyam. The extensive crew also includes Mahesh Narayanan and Rahul Radhakrishnan handling the editing, Shaji Naduvil and Jibin Jacob as production designers, and Vishnu Govind overseeing audiography.
The action-packed film features a team of four fight masters: Dilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Mafia Sasi, and Riyaz Habib. Costume Design is by Dhanya Balakrishnan, and Dance Direction is handled by Shobi Paulraj.
The story and screenplay are penned by Mahesh Narayanan himself. The film will be distributed by Ann Mega Media, with Truth Global Films serving as the overseas partner.
Previous schedules for the ambitious project spanned diverse international and domestic locations, including Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Delhi, Sharjah, Kochi, and Ladakh. Patriot is yet to lock its release date. The film is produced by Anto Joseph and KG Anilkumar under the banners of Anto Joseph Film Company and Kichappu Films.
