Santhana Prapthirasthu is a pure love story with family emotions while addressing an important issue, director Sanjeev Reddy said at today's trailer launch event. The film comes at a time when fertility centres are mushrooming everywhere, he added. Ahead of the movie's theatrical release on November 14, the trailer was released in the presence of Dil Raju and Anand Deverakonda.
Guest and producer Dil Raju said, "From Kalyana Prapthirasthu, our society has moved to Santhana Prapthirasthu because pregnancy issues have been on the rise. These days, it's nothing to make a film and release it. Getting the audience excited so that they come to theatres is the big deal. Speaking on the occasion, actor and guest Anand Deverakonda said that the trailer of the movie is super-promising. "The comedy and the emotional content, the performances... The cast is also very exciting. Vennela Kishore, Tarun Bhascker, Abhinav Gomatam and others are acting. Telusa Nee Kosame is a nice listen. Director Sanjeev and I made our debut in the same year. Hero Vikranth Reddy said that producers are the pillars on which the tower of Tollywood rests. Without them, he said, the Telugu film industry wouldn't have gone from strength to strength. "Dil Raju garu is one such producer. I am happy that he is here today. Four reasons made me do this movie: a unique point (male infertility), entertainment quotient, emotional rollercoaster ride in the last 20 minutes, a good message. I can guarantee you all that you will leave the hall with a high! My director wanted the audience to see my character, not me. He asked me to put on some weight. He slowly transformed me into my character, Chaitanya. Ajay Arasada and Sunil Kashyap have nailed it with their music. Actress Chandini Chowdary said that the film touches upon the sensitive topic of infertility. "Female infertility is not a taboo issue, but male infertility has been. Our film tries to spark discussions around it," the actress said.
Producer Madhura Sreedhar said that Dil Raju has always been supportive right from his first movie, Sneha Geetham. "Santhana Prapthirasthu has got everything that a concept movie needs. I thank the entire crew," he added.
